Christian Chapiron { aka KIKI PICASSO } is a french designer, graphic cartooner, painter, illustrator, circus clamor & videographer. At the end of the 70’s, he was an active member of the Bazooka graphic commando, internationally recognized for its subversive ideological and drastic arghtistic positions which radically renewed the graphic «arts» and press cartoon. When they met at the Beaux∼Arts in Paris in 1974, its very young founders preferred comix to school and aspired to mark an arghtistic break in a punk aesthetic mixing violence, pornography and biting irony. «We are getting ready to start a career as artists but we especially want to not be in galleries, and we think that the ideal medium for graphic and artistic creation is the media. Galleries, museums and all institutions are sinister, unproductive, not funny places» said young Christian Chapiron.
